29 Jun How Utilizing Local Influencers Can Expand Your Reach & Pockets
So what is an influencer?
According to Webster, an influencer is someone that influences someone or something. Super simple, right? These days it gets a little more complicated.
In today’s world and pop culture, an influencer is one of those people that runs the internet or specifically Instagram / Youtube. Doesn’t matter if they do make up tutorials, play games, do pranks, or take butt photos. If they’ve got over 10k followers, they probably consider themselves an influencer.
WHY? Because whether you like it or not, they are influencing people on social media. HEAVILY.
Brands hire them to wear their clothes. To use their products. To cook their food. It’s happening everywhere.
What does this have to do with real estate?
You should be utilizing these people’s followers and creating a mutually beneficial relationship. It will help you build local relationships, create a community and honestly can just make you seem like THAT agent who is in the know. Think about it. All of their friends and followers will immediately feel a connection with you BECAUSE you built a connection with their online friend, the INFLUENCER.
Why isn’t it happening in real estate in Columbia?
Honestly I don’t know.
